Presentation by the festival’s artistic director, Loïc Pierre:

How do you continue to seduce your gourmand ears after twelve editions of a festival that maliciously défriche all the territories of choral and vocal art? How are you surprised again?
By calling on stage, for example, the scenography, the choreography and the video. And the 50 teenagers who came from Barcelona will undoubtedly ignite the big scene at Equinox. You see this is a volcanic Spanish choir that mixes on stage profane and sacred repertoires but where the dance and devilish rhythms sculpt a singular, insolent and innovative image of young choirs. Le Macadam Ensemble venu de Nantes tissera des liens étroits between video installation and 12 voix au service d’un Andersen’s tale.
The faithful spectators of the Festival of the Voice know well the Nordic flavors often invited: Latvian Voices and the décalé et decapant trio of BLØND, BLŌND AND BLŎND will complete this panorama.
