Voices, under the direction of Josep Vila Jover, and accompanied on the piano by Paul Perera, invites you to a unique concert with the Cançons d’Aquí repertoire. A show that will transport you through the most emblematic melodies of contemporary Catalan composers, discovering the richness and diversity of our music.
A selection of works for choir of white voices and piano that will delight young and old. From the tender lullaby El bressol de Sant Josep by Jordi Domènech to the funny Si sera el gos o be el gat by Josep Vila i Casañas, passing through the emotional Ull de ox by Albert Guinovart or the vibrant Baixant by the source of Oriol Hernandez’s cat.
This show reveals the diversity of genres and styles that define our musical tradition, with some works that are original creations of the authors and others that are adaptations and arrangements of popular works. A unique experience that highlights the talent and innovation of today’s Catalan musicians.
